Micah Group maintains a standard $10 million corporate insurance, including Professional Liability and Contractor’s Pollution Liability Insurance. Additional coverages are available to meet specific contract requirements. Micah Group has coverage available up to $15 million. Micah Group is fully bonded and insured to perform all contracted work and maintains a construction bonding line of $10 million. Micah Group maintains lines of credit appropriate to provide the working capital needed to completed contracted services. HUBZone Micah Group’s management embraces the HUBZone mission, and has a solid understanding of the program and its requirements. The toughest HUBZone regulations by far are the 35% residency and 50% self-performance requirements. Micah Group’s corporate office is located in a HUBZone region that houses multiple universities and several colleges. This strategic location enables the firm to not only grow while meeting the program’s residency requirement, but also hire the staff necessary to fulfill the self-performance requirement. Staff
Micah Group's managers qualifications include hands on experience within their professions, making them well suited to deliver appropriate resources and superior results to consulting clients including Federal & State entities. Health & Safety Micah Group provides semi-annual internal and external training courses to keep employees informed of industry changes, new technolgies, and share experiences, and ideas with other industry leaders at trade shows & conferences. Micah Group staff regularly attend trade shows, conferences, seminars, training courses, and workshops to remain well informed on new technolgoies and concepts within their fields. Staff are trained in many areas including; OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 8 Hour Annual Refreshers, OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety, EPA 8 Hour Asbestos training, Radiation training, CPR and First Aid training. Site Supervisors are trained OSHA 8 Hour Supervisors and have USACE Construction Quality Control training. Other certifications held by Micah Group staff include Certified Energy Auditor, NGWA Monitoring Well Installer, Certified Drill Rig Operator, UST Remover Certifications, Reimbursement Programs Certifications, Corporate Specific Certifications and EPA AHERA Certifications. |
