Micah Group Energy & Environmental (Micah Group) is a HUBZone Certified Small Business firm specializing in environmental contractor services for building energy evaluation/rehabilitations, HVAC renovations, green roofs, asbestos/lead surveys/ abatement, hazardous waste management, soil & groundwater investigation and remediation and alternative energy solutions. Environmental remediation services originally formed the basis for the company’s foundation in 1998 and projects have been completed across a broad geography. Initially, as a self-performing remediation contractor and environmental driller, Micah Group quickly advanced as a preferred turn-key contractor. These in-house abilities still support industries requiring petroleum storage facility compliance, environmental assessments, hazardous waste management and heavy remediation.  Thru this established position, Micah Group expanded its energy & environmental service offerings to include Building Health & Optimization and Energy Alternatives. Expanded services include energy audits, facility commissioning, HVAC evaluations/replacement and smart meter, solar and green roof installations. Fuel management strategies utilizing biomass, manufacturing and common household wastes are also implemented. Industrial services of asbestos, lead and mold surveys/abatement are performed in house, as well as commercial indoor air quality management.
